Studio Manager/ Client Services Manager

    The company is a leading web design agency specialising in listed company websites. Located in the Sydney CBD this company seeks to expand its client base and now requires a Studio Manager/Client Services Manager who will lead and inspire a team of creative people and take the business to a new level. Reporting to the CEO and joining the management team you will play a crucial role in defining the next chapter of the company's growth.

    As the Studio Manager/ Client Services Manager you will lead a design team in the delivery of online and offline design projects. The right person for this position will have a proven track record in managing multiple design projects whilst leading and developing the team. Responsibilities include:


        * Overseeing the delivery of design projects
        * Management of the design team
        * Overseeing project scheduling and deliverables
        * Quality control of group wide design and breadth of services offered
        * Developing both online and offline client design briefs
        * Working with the sales team to develop the sales pitch, process, costings and proposals


    Your experience will include

        * A minimum three years senior design experience working in a design studio as a Studio Manager, Senior Designer or similar position
        * Minimum three years management experience in leading a design team
        * Ability to lead and inspire a creative team
        * Confidence in delivering to clients with the ability to pitch ideas and engage in the sales process
        * High technical knowledge and experience in both online and offline design with a thorough understanding of web design, online technology and the latest design tools
        * Strong all round project management skills including design management, costings / estimates
        * The ability to manage scheduling and deal with the pressure of delivering multiple projects
        * Able to delegate and follow internal processes


    We would preferably (although not imperative) like this person to also have:

        * Experience in the corporate design or the listed company space
        * Experience in designing annual reports and listed company documents
        * Social media and web 2.0 applications experience
        * Formal qualifications in design or similar.
