Our client is a large national retailer of FMCG products and offers a great opportunity for a Senior Merchandise Planner to join their growing team.
In this position you will work with the Buyer to develop seasonal merchandise strategies and assist the Buyer to maximise revenue, margins and stockturn performance. Key responsibilities will include:
- OTB management
- Sales analysis
- Inventory analysis
- Forecasting
- Markdown strategy
- Competitor analysis
- Financial performance of the category
To be the right candidate for this position you will have:
- a background in planning - not necessarily in fmcg products
- experience working in a retail planning environment
- strong numerical and analytical skills.
