Senior VB.Net SQL Developer $85K

VB.Net SQL Server Developer / Programmer is required to join a leading company in Parramatta. Skills required are as below

- VB.NET (using Visual Studio 2005-2008)

- SQL server 2000-2005 and T-SQL

- SSQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)

- Oracle 10g and PL/SQL

- Entity relationship modelling

- OO programming principles

- MS office suite

Key tasks will include

* Support the Senior A/P in legacy and new system developments.

* Daily monitoring of backups and system notifications.

* Daily monitoring of SQL Server backup results and system notifications.

* Assist the business during the Month End runs.

* Assist the infrastructure side of the team where necessary.

* Carrying out up-front analysis of business needs for system enhancements

* Writing functional program specifications

* Some SQL Server Administration

* Programming in the VB.Net
