This is a very senior position and would suit a career minded individual with strong planning and analytical skills and ability to work autonomously or as part of the team.

In this position you will assist the Buyer to maximise revenue, margins and stockturn performance.

To be successful in this role you will have

* demonstrated experience in a Merchandise Planning role

* Strong financial skills

* background in planning for Apparel (Menswear, Womenswear or Childrenswear)

* experience working in retail environment

* strong numerical and analytical skills

Your key responsibilities include:

* OTB management

* Sales analysis

* Budgeting

* Inventory analysis

* Forecasting

* Markdown strategy

* Competitor Analysis

* Financial performance of the category

* All facets of the planning function

Duties:

• Managers contract compliance and all financial responsibilities associated with these contract.
• Leads and coordinates the work activities of a team who implements product/service plans associated with the contracts. Has P&L responsibility that includes revenue and expense forecasting, management of liability account or loan portfolios, and manages equipment/assest inventory utilization. Responsible for aligning service plans and revenue with objectives, competitive service offerings and market trends. Acts independently or with sales channels assesses customer requirements, makes presentations to customers, and develops customer account reviews in order to establish the company as a strategic partner.

Experience: 5-8 years experience looking after major accounts and a Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.

Remuneration: $130000 - $150000
